Features

  • Utilize a newly-designed large volume aliquot tip (22mL). There is no delay in processing time, since multiple aliquots can be made from one aspiration.
  • Designed to prevent the possibility of sample contamination from carry-over.
  • Cup holder Train Mechanism: For the smooth and reliable transport of samples.
  • Inlet with its open architecture, one can view the status of the cup inlet without removing any covers.
  • Two tube bins for Secondary tube (Conical and/or Rounded bottom tubes).
  • Loading secondary tubes into outlet racks or optionally directly to TLA track.
  • Urine Cup and excess sample auto-disposal function: can dispose of the samples and the cups automatically after aliquoting. Sample waste can also be plumbed directly to a waste system.
  • Optional Inlet & Outlet Urine Cup Module available for added capacity.

Processing Flow

  • Cup Loading Area

    Loading urine cups to the area. The barcode is read to determine routing and confirm receipt in the laboratory. The operator will be informed in the case od an error.

  • Aliqote tube labeler Area

    Create the requested number of aliquot tubes with the barcode label.

  • Aliqote Area

    The cup’s barcode is read and stirring samples. Aliquot the urine from the cup to the aliquot tube.

  • Cup unloading Area

    Dedicated unloading for cups. The operator will be informed in the case of an error.

  • Aliquot tube outlet Area

    Dedicated unloading and sorting for secondary tubes according to pre-defined sorting rules. Sorting the aliquot error tubes to the error rack. Aliquot tubes can be loaded into instrument racks or generic outlet racks.

  • Interface to external transportation system (Optional)

    Routes secondary tubes to external transport system.

  • Urine sample and cup auto-disposal Area (Optional)

    Discards processed urine and urine cups.

  • Cut Inlet/Outlet unit (Optional)

    Provides more space to place urine cups or receive processed urine sample.
